Sushi Dog Food: viniq (shimmer liquid idk)
Story of Food: This drink was given to me as a Christmas gift from a good friend a few years back. It is both my favorite color (purple) and my favorite thing (sparkly) lol. She said when she saw it she thought of me. I had never heard of it before, but I was very eager to try it. We decided to share it and ended up drinking the entire bottle in one sitting. It made for some fun memories that I don’t think I can share here, because we weren’t in the greatest state of mind, but it was fun nonetheless. While I will never drink it again, because we got very sick off of it, I do still enjoy the memory of it. I have, however, vowed to never drink again because of how awfully sick it did make me. So, this did turn me away from a bad habit that was forming. So it was all in all a good experience, just did not feel the best afterwards. Me and this person no longer see each other, but I’m sure we both have the same sentiment over this drink. It sounds like it was rough, which it was, but I still fondly remember that day. I also just think the colors and sparklines of it will make for a good sushi dog/cat. I plan on upgrading the design to have all the fun features of the actual drink (since I think making a liquid come through on a plain design is kind of hard).

Sushi Dog Food: Spaghetti Circles
Story of Food: SO my food is that lovely can of little spaghetti circles. (I'm not sure if I can say the name here due to copyright or whatever) BUT when I was a kid I used to eat them like crazy! My family would always buy tons and tons of cans for me. I would eat it for lunch basically everyday. I would always dip other foods in it whenever I ate, like chips or bread. It was super delicious, i used to love dipping the nacho chips in it the most! I used to come inside from playing outside to eat a nice warm bowl of them, its such a nice memory! I especially loved eating the ones with meatballs and franks which are hotdogs. I remember me and my neighbors who hung out all the time rushing into the kitchen to eat out lunch and enjoy it before we rushed back outside to play. As i started to get older I started to just eat them cold out of the can, which is just as tasty. (I know lots of people think that's gross but I promise its not.) They've always really been a sort of comfort food to me. I find myself always going back to them. I'll even bring them to work sometimes as my lunch, and the taste always brings me back to my childhood of when I'd rush inside to eat them in speed to see if I could finish before my friends. I'll never forget those times and they'll be special to me, though the little can of spaghetti!

Sushi Dog Food: Strawberry Jelly Roll
Story of Food:
I designed my sushi dog with the food theme of strawberry jelly roll! There are a few different names for this particular dessert (roll cake or swiss roll for example), but my family has always called them jelly rolls. They are made of a thin layer of cake, a layer of strawberry flavored jelly, and a layer of icing which is rolled up, creating a swirl of the different layers. I grew up eating these! My grandfather would buy them for my sibling and I as a treat. Up until about two years ago, I thought that the only place to get them had been a small bread store outside town, and with it having been so long I assumed that they were no longer available, until one day I stumbled on a package of them in the grocery store in the town where I went to college. I bought it and took it back to my dorm and found that they still tasted exactly how I remembered all these years later! They were my sibling and my absolute favorite when we were young - anytime a package showed up, getting to have one was the highlight of our day. There is a lot of sentimental value in strawberry jelly rolls for me, they are a strong reminder of my grandfather and his significant presence in my life before his passing. Somewhere along the line when my sibling and I were still young, the packages of jelly rolls stopped showing up at my home, I can't remember when but they must have become scarce at the stores in our small town. It's nice to know that they're still around now, even if they aren't always available where I live, and that they're still exactly the same as they were back then.

Sushi Dog Food: Candy floss cake
Story of Food: Candy floss cake is a food that is near and dear to my heart, as it brings memories together of both going to the fun fair or the seaside, along with birthdays and celebrations. It is combining the best of both events and memories, in one package. The sugar rush of the candy floss, along with the (also sugar rush) of the cake and icing are a glorious combination. Then throw in sprinkles or sweet pearls, and not only is it sugar filled it is also pretty and adorable. I love how the candy floss can look like clouds, so light and airy, floating around the cake. Then you have the pastel pinks, blues, and purples from the candy floss, and bring those into the cake to also have a pastel cake. I love that it can be decorated however you wish, sometimes unicorn themed, sometimes space themed, sometimes a clear sky with some clouds and hot air balloons. It makes for a very versatile decorative material and decorative theme. I’ve always had a sweet tooth, and haven’t found a food yet that I consider too sweet to eat. For some candy floss cake might be pushing it, but for me it is tasty still. The way that the candy floss melts on your tongue combines well with the soft spongey cake and the smooth icing on top. Cake is an amazing food in whatever flavour, so combining with candy floss works so well! I could probably eat cake every day if it would be healthy for me.

Sushi Dog Food: Tiramisu
Story of Food: Tiramisu is a very nostalgic dessert for me, I've been eating it for an extremely long time. My mom typically makes it for me and my family on special occasions such as my birthday, Christmas, etc, but on a few occasions she would just make it for the sake of it. I've tried tiramisu made by other people several times, I actually go out of my way to buy it when I see a new place that sells it, but I still cannot find a tiramisu that tastes as good as my moms. :") I really want to learn how to make it one day since I've been trying to learn how to cook and bake more, but I haven't had the chance to try yet. I assume it would be decently easy though, especially since tiramisu doesn't need to be baked or anything. Even though I'll follow her recipe when I eventually do try, I don't think I'll be able to make a cake as good as my mom's. Since my mom usually makes tiramisu for my birthday, most of my friends have also had my mom's tiramisu and have agreed on how good it tastes. I think there was only one friend I've ever had who didn't like the cake, but we weren't very close with each other. Oh, and whenever my mom would make it she would always let me eat the remaining cream that didn't get used in the cake. This is kinda all over the place oops shafkhsafk it's more so an overall nostalgic food for me rather then having any specific memories attached to tiramisu :")
