It's the most wonderful time of the year! Well...almost!

It's finally time to kick off the festivities of the holiday season with our annual Secret Soosh event! Every year, we host this event that allows you to sign up to draw another person's soosh at random! And in return, someone else will draw yours! All participants will receive art, even if their partner fails to deliver, so fret not if this worries you at all! Santa Cookie is looking out for you!

Don't delay though, we only have 100 slots available for people to sign up!

This is so that we can regulate makeup artwork and that it's not overwhelming for our volunteers if it is indeed a lot! If not all slots are taken, entries will close on Nov 27 @ 11:59 pm EST

✦ Rules ✦

You must own a Sushi Dog/Cat to participate
All finished artworks must include lines, flat color, and be fullbody at a minimum! Shading and backgrounds are up to you.
Art can be digital or traditional, no crafts or written works will be accepted
All work must be PG, no explicit work will be accepted.
Please respect the member's specific drawing request, do not make it Christmas themed / Winter themed / etc. if they do not want it that way.
Please only link 1 to 3 Sushi Dogs that you would like drawn!
If you do not complete your part, you will not be allowed to participate next year!
You don't have to have an account on our new site but we strongly encourage it, for the reason below!
All participants will receive 500 CR for participating! Volunteers will receive 500 additionally for each piece they help with.

✦ So, how does it work? ✦

Fill out the form at the bottom of this journal, from November 8th to November 27th, and reply to the appropriate comment below!
By the end of November, you will receive a message from a Sushi Dog mod, on your preferred platform, with who you are drawing for. This is a secret! Do not share this information!
From when you get your message to Dec 25 you will work on your drawing!
When you are finished, submit your finished drawing via the Secret Soosh prompt available on the website. . Try not to attach the soosh you drew in the characters panel of the prompt, as this makes it visible to the owner.
On Dec 25 we will premiere all of your artworks in a news post, and then you are free to upload to your gallery, discord, toyhouse, etc!

Important: Do NOT upload anywhere publicly till Dec 25!

✦ Volunteering ✦

We are also looking for volunteers for make-up artwork!

This means that if we do not get someone's art by the deadline, you would have from Dec 25 to Dec 31 to make something for them! We realize that not everyone is capable of assisting us with this matter, but volunteers are extremely welcome if you think you can help! You will receive bonus currency for helping! Please comment below if you are interested!

Do I have to own a soosh to participate?

Due to the nature of this event, yes, you must own a Sushi Dog to participate!

Do I have to own a soosh to be a backup artist?

No! You are free to volunteer regardless of if you own a soosh or not!

Can I pick who I draw for?

No, all pairs will be randomized.

I can't draw this Sushi Dog for my partner no matter how hard I try! What do I do?

That's fine! Do let us know as soon as you can if you find yourself in this situation so that we can contact them for another design if possible! If the user only owns one Sushi Dog, there isn't much to be done sadly! Please submit a claim explaining the situation, or contact us via Discord/DeviantArt.

Can I draw them with other sooshes/my sooshes?

We request that you ONLY draw the linked soosh unless specified by the owner in their comments of another specific soosh they would like them to be drawn with (best friend, romantic partner, etc)

Can I draw them anthro/humanoid/AU/etc?

Please only draw the soosh in the form they exist in unless specified by the owner in the comments.

Can I submit my drawing for the Oodles of Doodles prompt?

No, since this is treated as its own prompt, we will not accept it for additional rewards.
