NPC-004: Nocte

The most reserved and mysterious of the Village Leaders, Nocte leads the Bitter Village using their wisdom and grace. When they aren't overseeing village tasks; Nocte can be found studying in their home among the treetops. They believe that knowledge is power, and encourages all of their villagers to explore both the world around them as well as the world of books and history. Although quiet and sometimes blunt, Nocte deeply cares for the residents of Bitter Village, and would put their life on the line for any of them.

Judging by their appearance Nocte has lead a life of hardship before becoming a Village Elder. It may be the reason why they often come off as cold and aloof. Not even those closest to them seem to be able to uncover the truth of their backstory and how they became a Village Elder.
