Sushi Dog Food: Red and White Fettuccine
Story of Food: I'll start off by saying that I am not the best of writers and I'm sorry if this sounds like rambling. This will be my first sushi dog of my very own and a chance at designing one although I have drawn sushi dogs before for others. The dish I picked for my sushi dog is something I call red and white fettuccine. It's fettuccine noodles with one half alfredo sauce and one half marinara sauce. It was a cheap (we didn't have a lot of money at the time) easy to make meal that my dad came up with for us to eat when it was just him, my sister, and I while my mom was working late when we were younger. We always looked forward to this silly little dish that my dad made up. It was hard picking what food to do since I have many favorites so I decided to go with something that has a fond childhood memory.
The sauce is put on the noodles side by side which I have reflected that in his design by having one half of him a red dog and the other half of him a white dog. The color palette I picked is based on the colors of the two sauces. The few speckles of green are supposed to represent the herbs and spices. I chose a terrier like design for my sushi dog to represent my dad. The clothing and accessories he's wearing is an outfit my dad has worn.
