Sushi Dog Food: Chocolate Covered Strawberries
Story of Food: My personal favorite treat is a juicy chocolate covered strawberry. These are the best treat to get for a special occasion or Valentine's Day! For instance, my boyfriend got me 24 chocolate covered strawberries last year for Valentine's Day. I ate them all almost immediately. I will admit, this is one of the rare times I will consider eating white chocolate (it is my least favorite chocolate to choose from) with a strawberry. I've never had a bad chocolate covered strawberry before, thankfully. These juicy treats are sweet and if they are made with dark chocolate - it gets balanced perfectly. I think I prefer chocolate covered strawberries on Valentine's Day or any other day because I rarely end up getting them. It is just a classic food to be able to indulge in.
Especially ones that come from someone else - which makes them so much better. I have made chocolate covered strawberries once, but I never got to eat any which was quite upsetting for me. I think they have become more important and meaningful as I've gotten older. I usually never got them often as kids - sometimes I was about to get one or two, but within the years I've been able to get them in higher quantities. These treats can also say "I love you" in my eyes! They are a very good snack and a good comfort food that has a small amount of health (maybe including the chocolate if you count dark chocolate)! White chocolate is definitely not an ideal choice - dark chocolate is the go to.
